At Direct Physical Therapy, we offer direct access in home PT visits. DPT offers a wide range of services to help you recover from injuries, reduce pain, and improve your overall health. Direct Physical Therapy works with clients in their homes on their schedule. We are a cash-based provider, this means that our clients have control of their own health goals.
Meet Our Team
We are a local family owned small business, serving the commonwealth of Kentucky. Our physical therapist Sean Welsh graduated from Central Michigan University Doctorate of Physical Therapy program in 2017, and has been in healthcare since 2009. Since graduating Sean has had the privilege of working with patients of all ages and walks of life. Connecting with his patients and giving them the best outcomes and the tools they need to reach their individualized health goals.
Insurance and Payment
As a cash-based provider we do not work through any insurance providers. We accept cash, credit, debit, check, HSA, FSA, HRA
We also offer payment plans and promotional percentage discounts!

Who will I see for my visits?
A licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) will be providing your care at each visit!
What is cash-based physical therapy?
In this treatment model, physical therapists enters into a contract with the patient to provide physical therapy services in a manner that both parties have determined will help them reach the treatment goals. This allows the patients the most control over their care and health goals.
Can I use my insurance?
Yes, in most cases. After your treatment is paid for we can provide you with the documentation needed to submit to your insurance provider for your reimbursement.
Will you help me get my reimbursement?
Yes, once you have paid for your visit we will give you a receipt and a form to submit to your provider; or for a small fee we can submit those things on your behalf.
When is payment due?
Payment is due upon scheduling, a 5% discount will be applied for cash payment.
